As mentioned, I just finished recording a piece for the Compost and Height label, and am currently working on recordings with Yoko Higashi and Lionel Marchetti, as well as Z’EV. Those should be completed by next year and I hope they’ll be available for people to hear. It’s been great to work on them.
The CD/LP/DVD set ‘Physical Changes’ is also complete and due early next year, but the details are slim right now…
A band I used to play drums in, Pele, is experiencing a sort of renaissance — expect a 2xCD rarities collection from Polyvinyl, as well as a 2xDVD set from Contrarede in Japan, AND a reissue of all the original studio records via Disk Union in Japan.
Collections of Colonies of Bees will also be touring Japan in February with our good friends Toe, from Tokyo. Dates posted on the live page.
Happy holidays,
Jon

Kahn uses percussion and analogue synthesizer, and Mueller uses percussion and cassettes. Both take the […]

New limited edition release on the Absurd label from Greece. Two years ago, Carol Genetti, Jim Schoenecker and I worked on material for both studio and live performance using vocals, percussion and electronics. This release documents some of that work, and is easily my favorite of our efforts so far. Limited quantities […]
